Here's the honest version of this story.

It wasn't a eureka moment. It wasn't a pivot or a rebrand. It was a Wednesday night, a thermometer that kept sliding out, a baby who woke up every time we tried to use it, and a very tired parent sitting on the nursery floor at 3am googling "can babies get fevers from teething."

(They can, by the way. Usually harmless. Doesn't make it less terrifying in the moment.)

What we kept coming back to was this: why do we have to interrupt the one thing that matters most -- a sick baby sleeping -- just to check if they're okay? Why does getting information about your child's health require disturbing them?

So we built something that didn't. PediTemp is wearable. Continuous. It updates every four seconds and sends the data straight to your phone. It doesn't require you to sneak into the room with a thermometer and hold your breath.

We obsessed over the patches. Went through several versions before landing on the 3M medical-grade adhesive we use now, because it had to work on newborn skin, stay put through a sweaty sleep, and come off without so much as a red mark.
